The Pixelated Brain is a free, self-study tutorial designed to assist medical students taking courses in:             NEUROANATOMY               NEUROSCIENCE

The material is covered in 14 modules, assembled in a manual; each is appropriate for a two hour laboratory session in a medical school Neuro-anatomy or Neuroscience course.

A site map provides an overall view of the course and offers one way of navigating easily through the material.

We, the pixies who created the Pixelated Brain more than a decade ago, are busy revising the format to make it "tablet friendly". When we are done it will be possible to scroll down through each section rather than click your way through the multiple views. The width of each frame is being standardized at 1020 pixels for ease of display when using a Kindle Fire or iPad held in a horizontal position.
